Cook them the way you would chicken. My favorite way is to salt & pepper flour & fry! Make some brown gravy, grits or rice and enjoy.

X2

Just be carefull not to overcook. They become dry and tough if over cooked. Good eating.

Default How to cook quail

I have marinated them in Lemon Pepper and baked them, bbq'd them and deep fried them. Frying is by far the best! I use Autry Chicken Breader (no need to salt and pepper because the breader has all of the seasoning you need) and fry until golden brown. I don't think you will find any better!

Season with cajun seasoning, Soak in zesty italian dressing overnite and then wrap em in bacon and cook slow on a grill. You can still have the green bean but add mac and cheese and biscuits

Smoke those babies on the grill slowly over charcoal at low temperature 250 deg. Add some stripes of bacon and season. A Cold Refreshing Adult Beverage is a MUST!!!
