A forum squirrel hunt?

Anyone interested in a squirrel hunt and feed-bag in Edgefield January 30th?
Mo and I have been talking about this, to give folks that don't have a place to hunt an opportunity and especially those with youngsters. Thought I might cook up a pot of stew or something too. Post up if interested so we can get a head count for the cook pot.

Plan on meeting by 8:00 AM and starting the hunt by 8:30. We'll have lunch about mid-day and then chunk some clays if anyone is interested. Folks can carry shotguns or .22LRs after the bushytails but, of course, the clays will require a shotgun. No doubt there will be one or two loaners there if necessary.

There may be a tip jar for the cook to cover cost but otherwise there will be no cost to anyone and you can tip or not and eat like you did.

Dang, Shift work has its pros and cons and this is one of the cons. I got to work. If you guys do another let me know. Sounds like fun!!!

If anybody on the coast wants to fart around and get after them in the Awendaw/McClellanville area, Scrambled Greg and I are going on Saturday, February 6th, meeting at the Twin Ponds RR at 8:30. All are welcome.

Edge...I'd rather be coming to the upstate on the 30th with Greg and little faulkner but alas I'm not free on that day.

well, i hope somebody wants to come at least shoot some clays. saw a squirrel today down there and about five nests. fished for a little while couldn't buy a bite,but had fun anyways,saw deer tracks,coon tracks,fox tracks,more crows than i could count...and a half dozen to a dozen woodies,dang them are some pretty ducks! heck today was just good all around fun,went by lake russell ,edgefield,stopped by lake greenwood and hung out for awhile,saw a good flock of geese there,not bad for one day,if i wake up tomorrow and it's not raining to bad may just do it again!

me and ISLAAC will be there maybe POO(he's got a job now so will have to wait on his response),hopefully some others will sign on,if you need directions,it's fairly easy 25 south until edgefield,pass the BP and turn onto 430,sign says Johnston 8 miles,go towards Johnston not even a mile you will pass PARKER elementary,just past that on left EDGEWOOD rd. follow it around and gate will be on left just before you come to 430 again,i guess we'll have a sign or something. PM me or EDGE for a # to call .hope to see some folks

If you would be kind enough to allow me to bring my two sons I would love to enjoy the company of you fine people. In other words I would love to come moehethan will have to let me know if I can follow him or maybe even ride together down there we will figure it all out. I look forward to it. A chance to put smiles on childrens faces and to teach them there is more to life than just work stress and hassles. That God exist and that the world is more than a garbage pail full of worthless people!! I am IN!!!!

I'm looking at the weather forecast for Saturday and it doesn't look good for driving in the upstate! For that matter, doesn't look good for hunting squirrels either! I know the kids will not be happy but I think we need to reschedul this little party!
